It's the most wonderfull time of the year...

...well, NOT if you work at a department store. Remember how I told you about my horrible packing skills? Well, they've improved slighlty because I've been wrapping weird gifts non-stop the last 9 hours. I am not fooling you. It is super busy!

Before, as a customer you had 2 options: children's wrapping paper (which looks all cute at first sight because of all the colors, but if you look closer there are all these deformed animals on it which are really creepy) or black & white wrapping paper.

But now that Sinterklaas, Santa Claus and whatever old dude with a white beard are in town, you get a whole lot of more options: still the creeppy children's wrapping paper and the black & white but also freaking gold-digger gold and our super special Christmas-wrapping (it's from last year but shhh don't tell!)

So when you buy stuff you get loads off questions thrown at you. At least 5. If your lucky 6.
Fun fact about this, it is very awkward if the customer answers all the questions with no. You feel very useless if they do.
'Do you collect air miles? No. Is it a gift? No. Would you like to buy some candles because they are cheapass? No. Would you like to pay cash at least I'll have something to do? No. Would you maybe be interested in a bag, maybe, possibly, I'm guessing.. no? Uhm... well.. yes, yes, YES.. no, that's alright.. oh..ok. Do you want the receipt? No. DO YOU EVEN WANT TO BE HERE?!?!' That's sort of how it goes..

Other than that, I love December and all the holidays. Everybody is super excited and it is cold outside so you can dig into your scarf so deep people can only see your eyes.. You get presents and TONS of food! I used to hate Christmas.. but now I like it. Weird right.
I specially like the Christmas tree! And the Coca-Cola Christmas Commercial (that is a lot of C's) And I love the really sweet Christmas songs. There so sappy!

This song is very cool too. I kinda forgot about it until I read awesome Marieke's blog

Totes in love with the Noah and the Whale! How can I forget about them. I'm sorry, I'll never neglect you again.

Beyoncé vs. Robin

When I grow up, I want to be Beyoncé. Seriously. She is just the thang! She dances like a maniac and she is super pretty. Her voice is amazing and gives me goosebumps. Plus she got some swag, are you kiddiiiiiing me gurrrl! Gosh, I'm not even close!

This song makes me want to dance like her! That will never happen, but I'm close:

What? That is way different music! Yeah, I'm gonna need some extra dance lessons probably. It was a cool festival though. In Cardiff, super duper!

Fashionably late

You guys, I had a belated-spring-clean-up! It was craycray! I literally threw almost everything away. I'm not even joking.. I'm not the kind of girl that throws stuff away. On contrary, I save everything. The smallest ticket and the biggest shitty arts & crafts piece I made in elementary school are all somewhere in my room. I also have (or actually had) a truck full of shoes and bags in my room. But today was the day to say goodbye to all the bags and shoes that have been so faithfully to me over the years.
Ladies and gentleman I threw 4 garbagebags of shoes, bags, blankets, memories out of the house today. I nearly threw out half of my stuffed animals but it was too painfull. They all looked so cute and I could not bare to put them in the garbage bag. They have some more time to live before I have another belated-spring-clean-up. (My bed will be horribly empty when that day comes)
I hope to never have to do this again. It was mad in there, I'm telling you. Things flying around the room while I desperately chased dirty little animals with my vacuum cleaner. I hope this kind of dirt-war never happens again!

Picture time: I couldn't find a picture.
Song time:

Yes! Top of the Pops! And those suits! I want one! And the dances! Fo shizzle! I love boybands.

My socks didn't match today. Story of my life.

The combination of my socks was very confusing today. I don't think I had this kind of combination before. It made my feet feel awesome and I've been staring at them the whole day.
(Yes, I made a picture. Of course I made a picture, you know you love my pictures of all my weird unimportant things. Without them it would be dull and even more unimportant.)

I think it is very artsy. Little Piet Mondriaan-ish.
(I should really find an interesting, challeging, rare hobby I can blog about all day, because this is getting out of hand)

Other than that I have found my new school. You no longer have to worry about Robin's Future. She's got it all figured out! I'm almost finished with the fifth Harry-Potter-book and according to the biggest HP-fan-friend I have it should get interesting. I hope so, because up until now it is not really shocking.. I also earned tons of money with my new job as a cleaning lady. That is right, I'm cleaning the hell out of everything. No dirt is too dirty for me. Bring it on!

I totally look like this when I'm cleaning!

Please get an Uggcitrin. PLEASE!

It is very very important that every girl (and maybe even boy) gets one of these. This will safe the environment, the economy, the financial market, and many other subjects that are in great danger nowadays. It will even safe the Tree Kangaroo for no apparant reason. Would you want to be the death trap for this super cute animal:

That's what I thought. Thank you for saving the Tree Kangaroo!

Yes, I know I'm being lazy by only giving you video's instead of awesome stories.

Wait. What?

Ed Sheeran is awesome. He has a new song called Lego House. This morning I saw the video. It was a little confusing:

Huzzaa, that is Ron Weasley (no Robin, that is Rupert Grint. Geesh, get it right girl!). Holy smokes does he look like Ed Sheeran. Confusing much? Well, I was seriously confused the first minute. And again, it is an awesome song because building a lego house is very cool and painting by numbers is seriously the coolest thing in the whole wide world. There you have it.

Now I have to go to sleep, because I am having a sleepover at my grandma tomorrow. That is right. I still have sleepovers at my grandma's because she is rocking the boat of life!
