Before, as a customer you had 2 options: children's wrapping paper (which looks all cute at first sight because of all the colors, but if you look closer there are all these deformed animals on it which are really creepy) or black & white wrapping paper.
But now that Sinterklaas, Santa Claus and whatever old dude with a white beard are in town, you get a whole lot of more options: still the creeppy children's wrapping paper and the black & white but also freaking gold-digger gold and our super special Christmas-wrapping (it's from last year but shhh don't tell!)
So when you buy stuff you get loads off questions thrown at you. At least 5. If your lucky 6.
Fun fact about this, it is very awkward if the customer answers all the questions with no. You feel very useless if they do.
'Do you collect air miles? No. Is it a gift? No. Would you like to buy some candles because they are cheapass? No. Would you like to pay cash at least I'll have something to do? No. Would you maybe be interested in a bag, maybe, possibly, I'm guessing.. no? Uhm... well.. yes, yes, YES.. no, that's alright.. oh..ok. Do you want the receipt? No. DO YOU EVEN WANT TO BE HERE?!?!' That's sort of how it goes..
Other than that, I love December and all the holidays. Everybody is super excited and it is cold outside so you can dig into your scarf so deep people can only see your eyes.. You get presents and TONS of food! I used to hate Christmas.. but now I like it. Weird right.
I specially like the Christmas tree! And the Coca-Cola Christmas Commercial (that is a lot of C's) And I love the really sweet Christmas songs. There so sappy!
This song is very cool too. I kinda forgot about it until I read awesome Marieke's blog
Totes in love with the Noah and the Whale! How can I forget about them. I'm sorry, I'll never neglect you again.
