Unbelievable!

I'm not very keen on dogs. I'm sorry, they are just not my type. Especially not after they have been outside and smell like something has been lying around for a couple of days. Not good. But I have a confession to make. I do like this dog:

Oh no, she diiii-iiin't. This dog just make me laugh like crazy. It's just, look at those tiny mountains of fat. It's like it has been raining cats and dogs (nice joke Robin, nice joke) and this dog had to stand outside for the whole storm and its body shrinked, but its skin didn't. So now he has too much skin for his tiny little body. I'm sorry, you should see me right now, I'm grinning like an idiot. My family is looking like me and thinking 'that gal needs some serious help'
I mean come ooooon! Don't you just want to look this dog in the eye (if you can find them underneath that overload of skin) and say: 'Gosh, you are some creature! Don't ever go outside again when it is raining. But you do look very cute. Would you like to take a walk with me on the beach?' The dog will say: "Oh, well. Alright, I guess I could take a walk." I imagine this dog to be a laid-back-beach-surf-dog.

If anyone is treatening me to steal my dolly unless I have a dog, I want this one. I'll call it Rusty. Rusty will be the mascot of "Cat The Warrior And The Lobster"

Warning! Do not read when utterly cheerful.

I swear! Don't read when happy! This blog will be full of complaints!

I hate my life. Just shoot me now. Everything is going wrong. My bike broke down, there was an elephant on the road, my dog ate my homework, it rained and I broke my favorite pencil.

No, I'm only joking (irish accent). It is actually SUPER DUPER hot outside and I didn't even go to school today simply because I have to study for my French oral exam tomorrow. That is right. A French oral exam. Will you succeed? Well, in this state of mind, no. It is so hot outside, that my braincells, I don't know, melted away or are on a vacation. Either way, they are not working. At all. C'est terrible. (Look at that, one braincell came back! Where have you been all day, young fellow?)

Anyway, today is not such a motivative day I must say. I found out that I have 2 resits. I will not go further into detail because then it will just be jadaajadaajadaa. Boooooring.
The feeling of having resits sucks big time. While I'm lying dead on the ground thinking my life is over and finding a way out trough the carpet, all my fellow 'facebookers' are happy commenting: "I past all my exams. Huzaaah. Summervacation." Not cool!

Furthermore, one reason I am allowed to complain is because I am awesome, and this is my blog, and it is very hot outside and I want to go to my bestie in New York City. That's actually more than one reason. Pretty good reasons I must say.

To end this horribly complaining post, I will now cheer you up with some music since I think you are all so compassionate. Thank you for letting me complain. I promise, the next post will be all happy and cheerfull, since it will probably be about how I nailed my resits and my summervacation.

Here's the music by the way. Little bit of Phil Collins, nice and swooning:

(I have yet to see this movie again, will do soon, after I have found the bright light at the end of the tunnel. Gosh, that sounds very depressed. It's not that bad, I'm just over exaggerating. I'm good at that!)

Ah, don't you just love to spill every little thing you have in your body. Happy people still happy? Told ya!

Yes, that's right, I'm blogging like a mad(wo)man!

Who want to join me in this crazy dance party? All I need is about 40 people, some flashy disco lights, a lot of smoke and a school cafeteria. Oh, I also need an apple.

"Everyone can wide a bike!"

This kid is just... amazeballs:

If only I was as cool as him when I was four, but no, I had to ride into a wall (yes, I'm bringing that story up again! Traumatized I tell you, traumatized!)

This kid makes me laugh! I will have a kid like that because he is obviously as ridiculously awesome as I am.

I am just going to give you an overload of video´s this week. It is my examweek, and as you all know, eveything is way more important than studying during such particular weeks. Even staring at a wall is way more fun than opening your books. I caught myself staring at a wall during one of my exams today, hoping there was going to show up some kind of magical angel that would whisper the answer in my ear. Just like the movies. Didn't happen. Unfortunately.

Anyways.. these guys, The Gregory Brothers, 'songify' youtube videos (that aren't songs yet ofcourse..) and they also made a song out of this one....... My computer was stubborn.. I tried talking to him but he didn't want to listen.. so here is it: PICK ME! PICK ME!

That just has to make you laugh! They have more cool stuff!

My dream:

Now I know a car is just a way to transport ourselves from A to B and that it doesn't have any feelings/emotions/liveliness whatsoever but this one is just so effing cute! I have this thing where I give inanimate objects voices and emotions and I believe objects from the same species can talk to each other. If they are not from the same species I help them to communicate with each other. Anyway, I therefore believe this is the kindest car you will ever meet. Don't you just want to hug this car? Isn't it awesome?! I lurf it! One fine day, when I'm all grown up and when I have tons of money because I make cool photographs and theatre plays and because I have a gigantically famous band called either "Cat Warrior And The Lobster" or "Astronomic Artichoke" I will buy this car (without the cheese), ship it to America and make an once-in-lifetime road trip where I will meet the man of my dreams and then we drive off in my cool red fiat 500 towards the rest of our lives. The End

I want to start a band!

There is this music video, connected to a song (what? fo' shizzle?) which I very much enjoy. It is this one, and if I may suggest; close the door, put the video on wide screen and sit as close to the display as possible:

When I hear this song, and when I'm ridiculous close to my computer I sort of feel hopeless. I have no idea why, but the feeling doesn't bother me that much. It actually feels good.
The video is super weird, but I think it is a very beautiful one. It doesn't make sense the first time you watch it, but after a while (and after reading the comments on youtube) you sort of understand it. Turns out, this song is about advertisement and how it effects us all but we don't really know how to deal with it because it is 'bigger than us'.

Whenever I hear this kind of music, I always wish I could be as good as an musician as those people. I would love to make music and travel around the world making people dance. There's just one little, kinda crucial, part I miss... the talent to make music..

BUT.. Eline and I found a way to start a band. We will copy songs of other bands, that way we don't have to come up with the songs ourselves and we can meet our favourite bands! How's that possible? Well, since you have all these copyright-shizzle-manizzle, the bands will sue us.. and then we can say: "Oooooh, we are so, so sorry, we didn't mean to offend them. We want to apologise to them in person." Bam, meet & greet with our favourite bands! Let's start a band. The name you ask? Well, we are still in doubt.. It will either be "Cat Warrior And The Lobster" or "Astronomic Artichoke" Let us know which name you like the most! Or come up with an even cooler one!
We have all the people we need, some of them don't know that they are in our band yet, but we still need some back-up dancers. Any volunteers? We will be gigantically famous! Just sayin'

You know Robin has a deadline when..

.. her room looks like this:

HOLY SMOKES! What exploded there?! O MY GOD! I think I just saw a mouse running by?! Gasp!

I am very ashamed of myself right now. However, as the title already stated, I have a deadline this friday. Will you make it, my dearest and favorite blogwriter of all time? *insert cricket noise* Well, if I lock myself down like a hermit and if I don't clean my room (waste of time) then it might turn out just great!
As I am writing this I hear your precious little minds go: 'oh Robin, why is it that you can't plan properly and that you always leave all your beautiful clothes on the floor even though there is a handy Ikea-closet on the wall to put them in? Why?'
Whoops.... BUT, my exam period is creeping up which is the perfect time to clean my room! Then there will be a blog called: 'You know Robin has exams when...' Looking forward to seeing you then.

Blast from "the past"

Yesterday, I went to the high school prom of my bestie! It was wicked awesome!
We had a prom together 2 years ago. Here's a little comparison:

Whaaaaat? Super weird seeing it like this! How cool! We've changed, and grew and became more serious (wait, that's not true..it just looks that way)

See, no worries. We are still the biggest goofballs walking aournd on this planet! You don't want to see the pictures that are made later on.. I think we look very pretty. On all the pictures. Ha!
