Scrapbooks for dummies!
Today I updated my scrapbook colletion! Pretty sweet!
From left to right: Theatre-tickets-scrapbook, my-very-first-scrapbook, parade-scrapbook, newspaper-scrapbook, new-york-scrapbook and the last one is my norway-scrapbook. Preety awesome! There is some serious creative writing in those lovely little bleu books.
The thing with scrapbooks is that is depends on the color/cover of the book if it will give me inspiration. These scrapbooks also appear in red and black (like the big one) but for some weird reason, I can only write in the blue ones. If I buy a red one, it's pretty much doomed before I'm even at the cash register. The way it looks when you first open it is also very important. And it needs to be very clear from the beginning which side is the front side! Only big-books in black!
Listen to the following artists while updating your scrapbooks:
Johan, Broken Bells, Brothers, Ingrid Michaelson and Coldplay (preferably Parachutes)

Be aware, Robin is one step closer to getting here drivers license!
“If ever there is a tomorrow when we’re not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart, I’ll always be with you."
- Winnie the Pooh
Happiness is a mood, not a destination.
I heard this today, in my addiction-serie One Tree Hill. I believe in this. People always seem to 'hope-to-be-happy-someday' (at least in my series, they do), but what if you're happy for a moment and if that moment ends, then that's fine, because there will be plenty more of those moments. You should enjoy every little moment of your life, and not focus so much on "I-hope-one-day-I'll-.."
God, I should really stop watching those series, it's bad for my image..
I'm happy, today was a good day!!

I and Love and You

Stratumseind. 12 PM. Robin & friend. Hilarious.
For those of you who don't live in the awesome city Eindhoven. Stratumseind is only the biggest going-out-area in Eindhoven.
There are 3 species at Stratumseind:
The people who honestly like it.
Although, I find this hard to believe, there are people who really enjoy going to overcrowded places that are way too small, with a lot of drunk people.
People who go there because 'you are suppose to'
Sadly, I'm one of those. Most of the time, that is not the way I roll, but just to get an opinion of the whole going-out-thingie (or so she says..) These people go out because everybody else does it. I probably won't ever go out again. At least, not like this.
Maybe, this is not the way to go out. Maybe, there's a way cooler type of going out. If so, please take me out that way!
I did have fun laughing at other people and laughing at myself, though.

Do not disturb, you little brat!
Tell me, how this is possible...
I’m watching a movie. This movie took about 90 minutes. In this movie, a lot of things happen. This movie happens to be a very romantic movie, with a lot of butterflies-in-my-stomach-scenes. Awesome!
Obviously, a lot of things happen in this movie. Good things, bad things, exciting thing, funny things bla, bla, bla. For 88 minutes, nobody is disturbing me! That’s good! But then, the last minutes of the movie arrive. These 2 minutes happen to be the most important and most beautiful minutes of the movie. So it is very important that nobody disturbs me. Then why, WHY, does my little brother HAVE TO come bullying me IN THOSE LAST 2 VERY IMPORTANT MINUTES?!?!
WHY? I find it very brave to come in, and disturb me in the last 2 minute of a movie. You have freaking 88 minutes, were it is not that big of a deal if you disturb with a question or something. But those 2 minutes, little brother, those 2 minutes are VERY important for the mood I’ll be in the rest of the evening, and are VERY important for me to get ready to go back to the real world! Please don’t do that again! Thank you! I’ll be nice to you now.

The Heart

Just a cage of rib bones and other various parts
So it's fairly simple to cut right through the mess,
And to stop the muscle that makes us confess

I believe, this is still a very precious part of you.

Music creates a soul
Songs always have a special meaning:
M79 from Vampire Weekend immediatly brings me back to the evenings on which I would walk back from my actingclasses, passing Times Square, enjoying all the lights and people.
And I hope that one day somebody (preferably a boy :P) tells me that Nicest Thing from Kate Nash describes exactly the way he feels about me.
I always want to sing along with Heavin Forbid from The Fray. As loud as possbile! And cry like a baby on Anouk's One Word.
I just can't wait to be king gets me back to the ol' times (as far as possible) and I will play all the parts!
I fall in love every time I hear John Mayer and Apologize from OneRepublic makes me want to walk/cycle trough the rain.
Owl City says: I-want-to-be-in-your-band-marry-me-ps-I-heart-your-blog!
Paolo Nuntini gets me daydreaming and Always Love from Nada Surf makes me think of my favorite friend!
The Noisettes bring me back to my vacation in Italy and Coldplay, well Coldplay is Coldplay and always awesome! Coldplay makes me want to be a really great musician!
The Kooks and The Artic Monkeys make me want to move to Londen and with Mumford & Sons I would really like to make music! Or get a private concert at a fire place with hot chocolate and whipped cream!
If Pete Murray is on I would really like to learn how to play the guitar and show my bad-ass-skills at a bonfire on the beach in Australia. I would also like to help Adele with a second album, because it would be nice if she brings one out anytime soon! Guess she doesn't need my help: second album on 24 january! Its called: 21. Wow! What a surprise :P!
The Spice Girls, gosh, they make me laugh so hard at all the times I acted like a crazy 10-year-old to imitate them with my best english ever (NOT)
But why I don't have bieberfever, why I can't stand Chris Brown, why I think they should put Rihanna in a cave together with Lady Gaga/Kesha and Katy Perry, why I get very aggressive when I hear hardcore, child stars, heavy metal and rappers (except for eminem and brainpower).. I don't know..
Where did you get your taste of music...?
Thank God for music! (God says: Robin, get the hell back to your books, or I'll do something to your ears! oké, I'm already on my way!)
